Sierra House is a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of youth, low-to-moderate-income families, and homeless young adults. As part of their work, they buy up dilapidated housing stock, fix it up, and rent it out as affordable housing. Sierra House’s apartments help fill the large housing gap in Newark, NJ’s housing market, providing tenants a quality, affordable place to live.
Nonprofit Finance Fund sought to create a documentary on Sierra House to demonstrate its work financing affordable housing in New Jersey.
