Project management, design, writing, and editing to share the work with the world.

Annual reports help nonprofits, NGOs, and others communicate their impact with stakeholders and the public. My goal in producing annual reports is to ensure materials are visually compelling and language is clear and concise. This often means conveying complex concepts through simple language, clear metaphors, clean data and illustrations, and persuasive storytelling. It also means shepherding various contributors and stakeholders to align on themes, data, stories, and design so the finished product is delivered on-time, on-brand, and on-message.

I was the principal designer of the CSWR’s inaugural annual publication, Theosis, in 2024. The design straddled a traditional annual report and a magazine, highlighting the Center’s researchers and research from the past academic year.
As an employee of Nonprofit Finance Fund, I project managed the annual report for four consecutive years, growing page views 10x through email, social, and internal marketing campaigns. My contributions extended into writing and ghostwriting, editing contributions from others, design support, and organizing data collection and presentation.
My work on UN Geneva’s annual report involved interviewing staff and writing articles, copyediting content to adhere to the UN Editorial Manual, and shooting and editing video and photos in support of the publication. The 2017 UNOG Annual Report received a Gold Award in the Government class of the LACP 2017 Vision Awards.
I also designed the 2022-2023 annual report for Coming Home of Middlesex County.
